Up until the late 80’s, eyewear would be offered in different sizes. An optician would use their skill and experience to customise a frame to your measurements.

All frames from MD1888 can be customised to individual customers. Frames come in a variety of pre-made sizes and can be assembled quickly to order. We can also add nose pad inserts to Acetate frames as well as change around the colours and materials of each frame.

There are literally hundreds of options available for each frame to be customised to the individual.

Fitting & Sizes

Sometimes your eyelashes touch the lenses or frames simply slip down your nose. Our acetate frames can easily have nose pad inserts added or perhaps the frames need a different size front or longer arms added.

This level of customisation can be quickly created here from existing parts in our factory in London.
